My wife's GLE had the Check Engine light on. The car was just out of warranty window and I was dreading high service cost at the dealership. I decided to give Texas International Motors a try. Boy, that was the best decision for a long time. They took the car to the back once I arrived and took it back to the front after 40 minutes. I was told the light was related to a small leak from the fuel tank because the cap may not be tightened properly. The cost of the work was ZERO! Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. 40 minutes of work on Saturday and they didn't charge me a penny, which said a lot about their service and mission. I will definitely work with them in the future and am very glad I can avoid the dealership. ~ Jiemin L

Two weeks leading up to my visit to Texas International Motors, I brought my Mercedes S-430 to one shop around the corner that charged me $1200 and didn't solve the problem, they actually made it worse. Then I took it somewhere else, and they charged me $675 and didn't help either. When I found that Texas International Motors was open on a Saturday, I brought it in and met the most wonderful people. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM and the errors that the other two shops made. I wish I went to Texas International Motors FIRST. It would have saved me thousands of dollars. Their service was responsive, effective, and the most professional I've encountered in the 13 years I've owned my car. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! ~ Sibel C

I came here for a buyer's inspection for a 2011 MINI Countryman. Maziar Chalajour really took good care of me. They told me that the inspection should take about an hour or so to complete. Well, 15 minutes into that hour two mechanics came and got me from the comfortable waiting area to show me all the reasons I should NOT buy the car I was looking at. They pointed at all the damage to the vehicle that wasn't reported to CARFAX and I was surprised when they said that there was at least $5000 of work that needed doing to correct the body and mechanical damage that had been covered up. After paying a very fair price for the inspection, Maziar offered me a free buyer's inspection on another car. Now that is going above and beyond! This is an honest business that is looking out for the customer. :) ~ Greyson W

The most honest service I have ever received. I first brought my BMW 428i to Advantage BMW Midtown and that place was full of crooks. They said my car had leaks and that fixing the headlight vertical alignment would cost thousands. I knew then that they were making up stuff to charge me. I then searched for a privately owned service center and got lucky with this place. The owner first told me just to bring the car over free of charge to check it out. There was absolutely no leak. The headlight just needed to replace a sensor connector located at the left front wheel suspension. He also figured out the annoying noise by adjusting the firewall insulation. I am taking my BMW here for all future service. Take your luxury car here when it is no longer under warranty. If you hate your money and want to be ripped off, go to Advantage BMW Midtown. ~ D T

I highly recommend Texas International Motors because, I know Maziar and all his staff for many years. all my family brothers, sisters and friends bring their cars to him for service and repairs. I am happy to say that our children have grown up and Maziar is serving the second generation of my family. I feel bad for not writing this review sooner. I guess we all taking him for granted. Most of the people I know are coming to him for over 30 years and non of them left a review also. just recently he has done an amazing job on our new sprinter van which local Mercedes Benz dealership refused to take care of it under warranty. He repaired the sprinter for less than half the price Mercedes Benz dealership quoted us and the engine on the sprinter is running better than when it was new. Ever since I took my CLS 550 to Texas International Motors (TIM), I have become TIM's regular, loyal customer. I don't even bother to go to the dealership because of the difference in both quality of service and cost of repairs. Yesterday, I took my CLS 550 to TIM because one of its tires had a nail in it and kept losing pressure. José, an expert in my opinion, not only had the leak patched (no more leaks & pressure drops) but did not charge me anything. I been coming to TIM for about 2 years now, they have fixed anything from something as small as an oil change or light bulb replacement to a job that requires multiple hours of work. I have always been satisfied with their work. TIM is also fair with their pricing specially when compared to other foreign shops around and/or the dealership. But more than anything i am always returning because of the excellent work of Jose & Cesar. Those guys have always made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Cesar has been the hands on mechanic for my vehicle and he has earned my complete trust, i look forward to continue business with these guys. ~ Miguel R

As a first time customer, I was nervous but I was taken care of like family. I was physically shown the issues with my vehicle and I was given a much better price than the dealer. I saved hundreds of dollars on my first Visit!! Thank you Frequently visit now. I always bring my BMW Mercedes Benz and my wife’s Bentley. They provide services for all. They have done my Bentleys brakes, alignment and water pump. On the BMW they did brakes spark plugs oil leaks and body work. For the Mercedes Benz they have done all of the above , oil change spark plugs and body work. Good thing they work with insurance and warranty companies ~ Mando C

We brought our son's car here because Tesla had nothing until November to "fix the issue," they originally said was the problem when we took it to them for a diagnostic. According to them, it wasn't an emergency. We decided we needed a second opinion and are glad we went to Texas International Motors. Tesla had wrongly diagnosed the issue with his car but Texas International Motors figured it out because they were so thorough. The staff was friendly and kind, not to mention extremely helpful. Texas International Motors is a great professional car service and repair shop. My wife and have been bringing our cars here since 2008. We have a BMW, Mercedes Benz,Toyota and a Chevy and they have done a great service job to all of them. The savings and the professional service is why we keep coming back. The way I found out about Texas International Motors was from a friend who sold us the BMW. We bought the extended warranty package and said to us ones your warranty runs out don’t bring it back to the dealership,it will cost you to much money.Take it to Texas International Motors,ask for Mazair. ~ John F

Meant to write this review way earlier, like 6 months ago! Have been coming here for the majority of the maintenance on my 2012 Mercedes and have always gotten a much better price than the dealership! Owner has been up front and friendly every time. Usually I'll drop my car off in the morning before work, catch a ride downtown to the office with the shop's driver, then get a ride after work to pick up the car. Have also had a water pump replaced here via aftermarket warranty and that went smoothly. Will be returning in a few weeks for another oil change! ~ Joe K

I have an older Lexus SUV that never had any problems despite my negligence and lack of care. But eventually this past year I started having trouble starting the car and didn't know how to fix it. A friend of mine who is a car guru tried changing the battery but that didn't help, so I decided to look at getting some professional help before resorting to selling the car for scrap money. Maziar was able to diagnose the problem and fix it all in a days time. He basically saved me a bunch of headache and money because I didn't have to sell it for cheap and look for a new car ~ John P

My Escalade’s ball bearings were getting old and I needed them replaced. The owner of the auto shop I used to go to is no longer in business so I needed to find someone else to take care of my work, so I decided to give Texas international a chance to help me out. Without hesitation, they were even more professional than the place I used to go to. Price seemed similar to what I would’ve gotten at my original auto shop but speed of service was remarkably better. With that said, I’m positive that I’ll be a long term customer here, as long as they are in business. ~ Christopher B

They are life savers. I was referred to them by the Porsche dealer. The Porsche dealer wanted to sell me a transmission for an internal electrical problem. The service advisor said Texas International Motors can repair this for much cheaper. They did ! I needed way more work , brakes, water leak, suspension problems and alignment, so the worked with all of it and my Porsche drives like a new car. I can’t thank them enough. I’m brining my other two vehicles here ; Maserati and Mercedes Benz. They are indeed a great foreign car repair specialist at a fraction of the cost ~ Jay

Excellent service and quality work!!! This is the only place I trust my vehicle repairs. I almost never write review but after meeting Gus and his team I felt I had to spread the word. I came here for some brakes and other miscellaneous car work done, I left with the best experience I’ve ever had not just in car repair shops but overall client servicing and the extra miles these guys will go to get the job done. These guys are awesome. We have five cars in my family two Mercedes a Rover and a Porsche. I am so glad I fund this shop not only they saved me thousands of Dollars but the problems are being repaired the first time. I can testify that their diagnostic is much better and more accurate than local dealerships and the prices are less than half as much. I have been coming to Texas International since I’ve bought my Alfa about 3 years going, they have done all the oil changes, wheel alignments, routine and recommended by dealer maintenance. They have worked on all of my other vehicles as well as my friends, family, and clients, they provide elite service and will only release the vehicle back to you once it meets their Gold Standard, I now live further from Houston but I will drive across Texas only for them to service my vehicle. Had a major issue on my out of warranty Tesla. Had the most horrible experience with Tesla service not wanting to help in anyway unless I forked over almost the cost of 1/2 a new car. Found Jose at Texas Int Motors. Very friendly. Explained what they can do. DID it. And got me back on the road in under a week when everyone else said months. Amazing work. Replacement my HV battery and gave me a 13 month warranty. Any Tesla issue I’m coming here first. ~ piyush p

Great service and wonderful team at Texas International Motors! Thank you for always doing a great job! I definitely would recommend them! xcellent service and they were prompt as well. Luis took my first call and I came by for diagnostics on Monday afternoon. by Tuesday at 1pm my car was repaired. I drive a Tesla and I thought I needed to take it to Tesla. They quickly assessed my right control arm was the culprit and they accurately diagnosed it. the noise was so loud that I thought there would be more repaleents but that was it. i also needed my air filters replaced and now my car is like new. ~ Dr. S

Conveniently located in the Galleria, Waits are short, Every service has been done properly—we have never had to return for problems Having lived in Houston over 40’ years we have tried many mechanics. Not to knock on any other shop, but two other shops gave me the runaround today when I asked for my spacers to be installed. Tesla model three performance spacer install took these guys 45 minutes and they charge me a fair enough price where I will definitely come back to them in the future for my Tesla installs. Hope you guys can install that swivel screen on the model three and hardwire my radar for me in a couple weeks. :) ~ Adi S
